And few highlights from my summer in pics..

Tuomo and Elisa asked me to take care of their fish as they ventured to Portugal... I 'fished' this one out little late I think... little fishy died of hunger I guess...


Seeing my family in Helsinki, including my god son and daughter enjoying the pool outside at grand's garden on a hot summer day!


Tuomo showing his sea legs as we sailed on on the first day of our Sailing/diving trip.. The wind was so strong we had to change from GENOA sail to finally storm sail in the front and adjust our main sail.. the same day we found out that the boat leaks and decided not to head for estonia, but stay near land in Finland. The trip was great though! As was the crew!


The very beginning of our trip was started at McDonalds as we have for some time now.. this time the fishing was not as good and the burger in the beginning was just like the burgers before..


No exactly a high light, but a day to remeber as my father fell from the boat and cut his leg on some steel plates that had been leaning to the stairs.. It was fairly long cut reaching all the way to Fascia of m. vastus lateralis.. for those interested in anatomy.. Men took him away to a hospital and the doctor stiched his leg with some dozen stiches..

Most of my summer was spent watching this contraption.. it is a Flodec machine which measures the flow of fluid in a capillary... very simple...VERY time consuming.. I did some 10h days for a month and got half of my planned tests done... Thanks to all lab staff for great support and help! Keep up the good work Abu :)
